Joe Lunardi has released an updated bracketology projection ahead of the start of Champ Week.

Lunardi is projecting Auburn, Duke, Houston and Florida to all receive No. 1 seeds. Despite a 2-game losing streak to end the regular season, Lunardi says Auburn needs just 1 win in the SEC Tournament in order to “lock up” the No. 1 overall seed. And while Florida currently has a hold on top line, Lunardi says Alabama and Tennessee will also have a chance to play for that spot in Nashville this week.

As for the bubble, Oklahoma and Arkansas appear to be in a good spot. The Sooners are currently projected to play in Dayton, per Lunardi, but OU is not amongst the 3 teams labeled as “vulnerable” to bid-stealers in the latest update. Oklahoma is seeking to reach March Madness for the first time since 2021 while Arkansas looks to be safely in the field of 68 in Year 1 of the John Calipari era.

Texas, meanwhile, is on the wrong side of the bubble currently. The Longhorns may need 2 wins at the SEC Tournament this week in order to get into the field. Texas faces Vanderbilt in the 1st round on Wednesday afternoon.

The SEC is currently projected for 13 bids, which would smash the previous all-time record for 1 conference (11).

Here’s a look at Lunardi’s latest projection:
