Joe Lunardi updates his bracketology projections following Kerry Blackshear Jr.’s decision
Programs and fans across the Southeastern Conference have been eagerly anticipating Kerry Blackshear Jr.’s decision for days and weeks and now that the talented graduate transfer from Virginia Tech has finally made his decision, it was enough for Joe Lunardi to update his bracketology projections for the upcoming college basketball season.
If you missed the news, Blackshear picked Florida over Tennessee, Kentucky, Texas A&M and the option of returning to Virginia Tech or leaving for the NBA draft. Blackshear averaged 14.9 points, 7.5 rebounds and 2.4 assists last season for Virginia Tech, where he played for new Texas A&M coach Buzz Williams, who left the Hokies this offseason.
Following Blackshear’s decision, Joe Lunardi currently projects seven SEC teams to make the upcoming NCAA Tournament.
