John Calipari’s wife, Ellen, delivers emotional reaction to win over St. John’s

John Calipari and Arkansas have had an up-and-down season. The Razorbacks have had to deal with a ton of injuries, while also starting 0-5 in SEC play.
It has also provided some incredibly high moments. None of those moments can top the one the team experienced Saturday, as the Razorbacks knocked off St. John’s 75-66 to advance to the Sweet 16.
The emotions of college basketball can take a toll on the players and coaches. There are also clips every year that show how invested fans are, usually at the end of a heartbreaking game. However, there aren’t very many people who have to experience the high and lows of March Madness like the spouses of the coaches. It was just last year Calipari was wrong end of heartbreak with Kentucky, and during the win today, his wife Ellen delivered an emotional reaction to the win for Arkansas.
For anyone associated with Razorbacks, this has been an unpredictable season. Right now though, things couldn’t be any better, as the school is off to the 15th Sweet 16 in the program’s history. This will also be the 16th Sweet 16 for Calipari in his career.
The Razorbacks will face either Texas Tech or Drake next week.
