Auburn star big man Johni Broome may or may not be 100% in the Final Four. However, he’s getting out a brilliant performance for the Tigers in Saturday’s matchup vs. Florida.

At the break, Auburn is up 46-38 over the Gators, and it’s Broome leading the way, as expected. The big man delivered a team-high 12 points to go with 4 rebounds, helping the Tigers overcome some lackluster 3-point shooting in building the halftime lead.

In spite of those numbers, Broome did not appear to be operating at full strength on the court. He sustained an elbow injury during the Elite Eight win over Michigan State, and Broome appeared to be in visible pain at times while facing the Gators.

Broome was asked by CBS Sports about his status heading into the locker room, but he downplayed any ailment. He simply said “I’m good” and reiterated his excitement to still be playing in the NCAA Tournament.

“I’m good. I’m excited to be on this court, in this atmosphere. I’m excited to be here playing,” said Broome.

The Tigers and Gators are getting ready for the second half on CBS. Can Broome dig deep to lead Auburn into Monday’s title game, or will Florida pull off a dramatic comeback to advance?
