LSU basketball endured a rough season in 2024-25 and will be looking to take a big step forward next year under Matt McMahon. Players like Thomas will certainly help as he will likely slot in as LSU’s starting point guard next season.
Thomas is LSU’s 2nd transfer commitment so far in this cycle. The Tigers have also earned a pledge from former Mississippi State center Michael Nwoko. In addition to that duo, LSU has also signed 3 4-star prospects out of the 2025 high school recruiting class. All 3 of those players are ranked in the top-100 nationally, per 247Sports Composite rankings.
Thomas will have 2 years of eligibility remaining.
