LSU is looking for a much better season after a disappointing year under coach Matt McMahon, as the Tigers finished 14-18. Right now, every team in college basketball is in the transfer portal looking anybody to make their team better, and the Tigers are doing just that.
The Tigers have been very aggressive in the portal so far this offseason, and they added another player to their incoming class on Sunday in Omaha transfer Marquel Sutton. He was one of the most sought out players in the portal.

Sutton was the Summit League player of the year at Omaha, helping the team make it to the NCAA Tournament. He finished the season with 19.3 PPG and 8 RPG, and was very highly-recruited out of the portal.
This is a huge year for McMahon and the LSU basketball team. This is year 4 for him, and there is a ton of pressure on him to improve quickly. The Tigers won only 3 SEC games this year, after winning 9 last season.
LSU now has 5 transfer commitments this offseason. The transfer class ranks No. 3 nationally, per 247Sports Composite rankings.
