Chest, listed at 6-8, 220, is originally from New Orleans. He redshirted in 2023-24 and saw his first collegiate action this past season.
In 2024-25, Chest played in 26 games, including 19 starts. He logged 522 minutes of playing time, averaging 6.1 points and 6.6 rebounds per game.
Chest is a familiar face for Chris Beard and the Rebels. On Feb. 8, Ole Miss left Baton Rouge with a 72-70 win. In LSU’s upset effort, Chest scored 5 points and grabbed 12 boards, playing 30 minutes. The teams also faced each other in Oxford in January, but Chest only grabbed 1 rebound in 10 minutes of playing time.
