NCAA Tournament schedule: Tipoff times announced for Saturday, March 22 games

March Madness got off to an exciting start on Thursday. The day started with 64 teams in the NCAA Tournament, and now we’re down to 48 with the first 16 games in the books.

The 16 winners from Thursday’s action will now play in 8 games on Saturday. Late Thursday evening, before the conclusion of the Texas Tech-UNCW game, CBS Sports and TNT Sports announced the schedule for Saturday’s second-round action.

Here’s the schedule:

  • 12-seed McNeese vs. 4-seed Purdue – 12:10 p.m. (CBS)
  • 10-seed Arkansas vs. 2-seed St. John’s – 2:40 p.m. (CBS)
  • 5-seed Michigan vs. 4-seed Texas A&M – 5:15 p.m. (CBS)
  • 11-seed Drake vs. 3-seed Texas Tech – 6:10 p.m. (TNT)
  • 9-seed Creighton vs. 1-seed Auburn – 7:10 p.m. (TBS/truTV)
  • 6-seed BYU vs. 3-seed Wisconsin – 7:45 p.m. (CBS)
  • 8-seed Gonzaga vs. 1-seed Houston – 8:40 p.m. (TNT)
  • 7-seed UCLA vs. 2-seed Tennessee – 9:40 p.m. (TBS/truTV)

Four of 6 SEC teams advanced on Thursday. Arkansas, Auburn, Texas A&M and Tennessee are all 1 win away from making the Sweet 16. The SEC is off to a 4-3 start in the tournament, with Texas falling in the First Four and Georgia and Missouri losing first-round games Thursday.
