Tae Davis is heading to his 3rd college program, this time heading to SEC basketball with a commitment to Oklahoma, according to a report on Monday morning.

Originally a 3-star recruit out of Indiana in the 2022 recruiting class, Davis began his career at Seton Hall, where he saw limited action. After transferring to Notre Dame, Davis would appear in 65 games with 64 starts and become the 2nd-leading scorer for the Fighting Irish this past season.

Now, he gives a major boost to the transfer recruiting class for head coach Porter Moser per 247 Sports.

This past season, Davis was 2nd on Notre Dame with 15.1 points per game while also averaging 5.3 rebounds and 1.8 assists. Davis also shot 47.6% this season while boosting his 3-point shooting to 30.2% in a major jump from his freshman and sophomore seasons.

After entering the portal, Davis received a 4-star transfer rating from 247 Sports. He was graded as the 38th available prospect in the portal and the 7th small forward.

So far, Davis is the first transfer commitment for Moser and his staff this offseason, but the Sooners are also adding a pair of top-100 high school prospects via the 2025 recruiting class. Kai Rogers, a 4-star center, headlines the group as the 69th overall player in the country per the 247 Sports Composite.
