Sean Pedulla was the hero in the final seconds of Ole Miss’ big win over Arkansas on Thursday afternoon in the SEC Tournament.

After missing his first 6 3-pointers of the day, Pedulla came up clutch with a game-winner in the final seconds to send the Rebels to the next round in Nashville. His pull-up 3 found the bottom of the net with just over 1 second remaining in the game.

Here’s a clip of Pedulla’s big shot:

In the moments after the game, Pedulla shared what he was thinking as he took that shot.

“It’s March,” Pedulla told the SEC Network. “Gotta go get a bucket.”

Ole Miss out-scored Arkansas 6-0 in the final 20 seconds of the game in order to get this victory. Dre Davis also converted an old-fashioned 3-point play with 20 seconds to go to tie the game.

Ole Miss was already safely in the NCAA Tournament, but this is a big win for the Rebels’ seeding in the Big Dance. Ole Miss is now 7-9 in Quad 1 games this season and will get another opportunity on Friday to further improve its résumé with a win over Auburn.

Arkansas coach John Calipari has been clear this week that the SEC Tournament is not a huge focus for him, instead choosing to look forward to the Big Dance. The Razorbacks are likely to make the field of 68 thanks to their strong push to end the regular season, but a win over Ole Miss would have certainly secured their place.

Ole Miss and Auburn will play at 1 p.m. ET on Friday afternoon.
