The SEC basketball schedule for Saturday, Feb. 24 has all 14 teams in action with a full slate of seven games.
Alabama and Tennessee enter Saturday as the top teams in the conference. The Crimson Tide and Volunteers are each on three-game winning streaks, as UA and UT are separated by one game at 11-2 and 10-3 in SEC play.
If the SEC Basketball Tournament began Saturday, South Carolina and Auburn would claim the last two double-byes. The Gamecocks and Tigers are tied for third in the conference standings at 9-4. South Carolina has a slightly better overall record (21-5 to 20-6).
Florida and Kentucky are next in line. The Gators and Wildcats are just outside the top four teams, each sitting at 8-5.
