The SEC has broken the record for most conference teams to receive an NCAA Tournament. Fourteen SEC teams are going to the Big Dance, breaking the record of 11 teams set by the Big East in 2011.

Here are the 14 SEC teams playing in the NCAA Tournament with their seed and region:

Auburn won the SEC regular-season championship. The Tigers, though, are stumbling into the Big Dance. Bruce Pearl’s team suffered back-to-back losses to end the regular season. The Tigers then went 1-1 in the SEC Tournament against Ole Miss and Tennessee.

Florida cut down the nets in Nashville as the SEC Tournament champion, the first conference tournament title of Todd Golden’s tenure. The last 3 times UF won the SEC Tournament it made the Final Four in the NCAA Tournament. These Gators are looking to write another exciting chapter of Florida basketball history.

During Champ Week, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas and Vanderbilt were all mentioned as being some place on the bubble. By Selection Sunday, only Texas was seen as the bubble team. In a surprising move to some, the Longhorns made the field of 68.
