Seth Greenberg is a staple of ESPN’s college basketball coverage as a former head coach himself. Now, he’s ready to predict the 2025 NCAA Tournament and the winner of this year’s March Madness.

For Greenberg, it’s an SEC powerhouse and this year’s winner of the SEC Basketball Tournament: Todd Golden and his deep Florida squad.

The Gators have been a buzzsaw this year, finishing 15-1 at home and becoming 1 of just 2 teams (Alabama) to beat No. 1 overall seed Auburn in Auburn. In Nashville, Florida rolled to a title with double-digit wins over Mizzou and Alabama before a 9-point win over Tennessee.

“I’ve got Noah’s Ark – I’ve got Florida. Florida is this year’s UConn,” described Greenberg in identifying his title pick. “The backcourt with depth and shotmaking, Walter Clayton Jr. is a lottery pick, he’s the best guard in the country. Their front court, they have athleticism and skill with Alex Condon. His skill set is great, but (Rueben) Chinyelu, he gives them a frontcourt guy.

“They run the floor, they seal, they offensive rebound, they defend, and they’ve got shotmakers all over the floor. I’m going to do right like this (Gator chomp) with the Florida Gators.”

Greenberg’s pick is far from a stunner with the Gators becoming a trendy pick to win it all and are white-hot entering the tournament.

Overall, DraftKings still has Auburn and Duke as the favorites to win it all at +350. However, the Gators are right behind at +380 to win it all, and Florida also checks in as a heavy -125 favorite to win the West Region and reach the Final Four.
