Tennessee has been rocking and rolling at the SEC Basketball Tournament, winning back-to-back games in Nashville to roll into Sunday’s championship game vs. Florida.

Rick Barnes and the Vols opened their weekend with a win over Texas, and they continued their impressive stretch by taking down No. 1 seed Auburn on Saturday. While Tennessee allowed things to get close late, it was an impressive victory over the team that most expect to be the No. 1 overall seed for March Madness when Selection Sunday rolls around.

However, things will not be any easier on Sunday. Todd Golden’s Gators are playing like one of the best teams in the country and have some of the best odds to reach the Final Four in the NCAA Tournament.

With that in mind, Tennessee AD Danny White is calling on all GBO fans to pack Bridgestone Arena on Sunday for the 1 pm ET tip-off.

“We’re competing for a championship in the toughest conference in America – let’s ride!” posted White to X (formerly Twitter).

While some have questioned the worth of the conference tournament, taking home the weekend crown clearly means a lot to White and the rest of the program. Florida and Tennesse have faced off twice this season with each team holding serve at home with a blowout victory.

For Sunday’s title game and season tie-breaker, Florida opened as a 4.5-point favorite for the game per bet365. Fans can get into that action with the Tennessee sports betting apps.

For any fans unable to make it to Nashville, Sunday’s action will be broadcast on ESPN.
