The NCAA has hit a new low.

Perhaps out of some illogical fear that Virginia fans eager to celebrate the school’s run to the Final Four will flood his wedding registry with money or gifts, junior guard Kyle Guy has confirmed that the NCAA has banned him and his fiancee from registering prior to their wedding.

The junior guard averaged over 15 points per game this season, 4.6 rebounds and 2.1 assists for the Cavaliers this season for the 33-3 team.

Guy and his Virginia teammates are set to face Auburn in the Final Four from Minneapolis on Saturday. The game will be broadcast by CBS starting at 6 p.m. ET/5 p.m. CT.
