Where every SEC men’s basketball team stands in updated NET rankings

The SEC men’s basketball season is coming down to the wire. After No. 1 Auburn took down No. 2 Alabama on Saturday afternoon in Tuscaloosa, the Tigers will hold onto the No. 1 spot in the AP Poll on Monday.
Bruce Pearl’s squad is also No. 1 in the NET rankings, which were updated after Saturday’s full slate of games.
The SEC has 3 teams in the top 5, 4 in the top 10 and 8 in the top 25. It truly is the most dominant conference in the sport and that dominance only continues to show itself in the rankings.
Here’s a look at where all 16 SEC teams currently stand in the NET rankings:
- No. 1 — Auburn
- No. 4 — Florida
- No. 5 — Tennessee
- No. 6 — Alabama
- No. 11 — Texas A&M
- No. 15 — Mizzou
- No. 17 — Kentucky
- No. 25 — Ole Miss
- No. 30 — Mississippi State
- No. 31 — Texas
- No. 38 — Georgia
- No. 40 — Vanderbilt
- No. 42 — Arkansas
- No. 50 — Oklahoma
- No. 81 — LSU
- No. 92 — South Carolina
The regular season is winding down. Selection Sunday will be here before we know it, and that means every remaining game on the schedule takes on even more importance.
The SEC Tournament is set to tip off on March 12 in Nashville. Competition will be fierce for the double-byes.
