The Football Writers Association of America announced its Outland Trophy watch list today which included 70 interior lineman from all 10 FBS conferences. The list features tackles (both offensively and defensively), guards and centers.
Leading the pack was the Southeastern Conference, with 12 representatives. The Big Ten followed closely behind with 11, while the ACC (10), Pac-12 (10) and Big 12 (6) were next in line.
At the top of the SEC on the watch list was Auburn with three and LSU with two players listed. Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky,Tennessee and Texas A&M each have one player on the list.

LSU: Davon Godchaux (DT) and Ethan Pocic (C)

On Nov. 22, three Outland finalists will be named and then on Dec. 8, the winner of the Outland Trophy will be named live on ESPN. For the second straight year, the College Football Awards show will be aired from the National Football Foundation’s College Football Hall of Fame in Atlanta.
