2-Minute Drill: For Georgia, there’s still bad blood toward Tennessee

The series is split near even at 21-20-2 in favor of the Volunteers in a rivalry that predates the 1900s.
Georgia looks to win its fifth straight contest over a Tennessee program that has been down for the first time since 1909-1924. The last two games, though, have been decided by a combined ten points.
“The past couple of games have been pretty close at the end,” quarterback Hutson Mason told reporters earlier this week. “I don’t expect it to be anything different. Coach [Butch] Jones and what he’s doing there is pretty impressive. Just watch the recruiting and what he’s doing … it just seems like a very high motivator type guy. Those guys are going to be ready to go. We’re 0-1 in the SEC. By no means can we afford to start 0-2. They’re coming off a bye week, probably looking for momentum so expect nothing but a war.”
The ‘Dawgs would relish making it five in a row over the Vols.
“We’ve got bad blood for them regardless,” linebacker Leonard Floyd said, “just because they’re Tennessee.”
