Adidas has unveiled PrimeKnit alternate uniforms at several programs this fall and many are asking, will Mississippi State be next?
Our friends over at MSU UniTracker were the first to report on the Bulldogs’ new maroon pants worn during Thursday’s scrimmage at Davis Wade Stadium, an alternate look featuring an oversized primary logo slanted across the left thigh.

Thus far, this is the only known change for the Bulldogs’ on-field apparel this season but that could change considering Mississippi State has several marquee matchups. Adidas is picking up steam in the uniform department and Mississippi State’s a surging program with momentum.
In recent years, the Bulldogs have donned Egg Bowl alternates, grey pants and other one-off combinations.
Current preferred uniform combinations
- Home 1: Maroon helmet, maroon jersey, white pants
- Home Alternate 1: Maroon helmet, maroon jersey, maroon pants
- Home Alternate 2: Maroon helmet, maroon jersey, grey pants
- Road 1: Maroon helmet, white jersey, white pants
- Road 2: Maroon helmet, white jersey, maroon pants
- Road Alternate(s): Maroon helmet, white (silver or gold accents) jersey, white pants
