Online sportsbook 5Dimes has released its conference championship future odds for the 2016 college football season.
Defending champion Alabama is the early favorite at better than 2/1 odds. The Tide have finished the regular season 7-1 in SEC play for five consecutive seasons, with losses to Ole Miss (twice), Auburn, LSU and Texas A&M.
Six other schools drew odds from 5Dimes, including SEC East favorite Tennessee (5/1). LSU and Ole Miss, as we’ve also projected, should be Alabama’s main challengers in the SEC West, according to 5Dimes, while Georgia and Florida could push Tennessee in the East.
