DaRon Davis, a four-star wide out from Hogan Preparatory Academy (Kansas City, Mo.), verbally committed to Mizzou on Friday for the 2017 season.

The 6-foot-2, 190-pound pass-catcher is rated the second best wide receiver in Missouri. Davis had an offer from Kansas and other interests from Arkansas, Florida State, Minnesota, Kentucky and Purdue.
He is the first commit in Mizzou’s 2017 class.
