2018 NFL Draft’s first 20 picks are set following Week 17 games

The 2018 NFL Draft order is beginning to shape up.

After the dust settled at the conclusion of Sunday’s games, the first 20 picks were set in accordance with how teams finished the season.

The Cleveland Browns, which managed to go 0-16 against the rest of the league, will get the No. 1 pick.

Of course, the remaining 12 spots are reserved for the teams that made the playoffs, which also were set on Sunday night.

Quite a few SEC players could be in contention to be selected by one of the first 20 teams.

Alabama has a pair of defenders — DB Minkah Fitzpatrick and DT Da’Ron Payne — projected to go in the Top 20, according to WalterFootball.com. Wide receiver Calvin Ridley is in there, too.

LSU edge rusher Arden Key and cornerback Donte Jackson could be potential early selections.

Georgia linebacker Roquan Smith also could be a possibility to be taken in the Top 20.

There are several other SEC players lurking as potential first rounders.

4. Cleveland Browns (via Houston Texans)

5. Denver Broncos

6. New York Jets

7. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

8. Chicago Bears

9. San Francisco 49ers (tie)

9. Oakland Raiders (tie)

11. Miami Dolphins

12. Cincinnati Bengals

13. Green Bay Packers (tie)

13. Washington Redskins (tie)

15. Arizona Cardinals

16. Baltimore Ravens

17. Los Angeles Chargers

18. Seattle Seahawks

19. Dallas Cowboys

20. Detroit Lions
