Mel Kiper Jr. reveals the top 10 players on his updated 2021 NFL Draft ‘Big Board’

While Todd McShay currently envisions a run of quarterbacks at the top of the 2021 NFL Draft, his colleague Mel Kiper Jr. believes that would represent some of the best talent in the draft available still on the board with the No. 5 overall pick in the NFL’s upcoming selection process.

We may be a long way away from the 2021 NFL Draft, it’s scheduled to start on Thursday, April 29, and concluded on Saturday, May 1, Kiper is already willing to share his thoughts on the top 10 prospects.

Among the prospects on the top of his board, four SEC players made the cut.

Here are the 10 players at the very top of Kiper’s board, as shared by ESPN on Thursday.

#2 Penei Sewell OT, Oregon

#3 DeVonta Smith WR, Alabama

#4 Ja’Marr Chase WR, LSU

#5 Kyle Pitts TE, Florida

#6 Jaylen Waddle WR, Alabama

#7 Justin Fields QB, Ohio State

#8 Zach Wilson QB, BYU

#9 Caleb Farley CB, Virginia Tech

#10 Micah Parsons LB, Penn State
