2023 NFL Mock Draft: CBS Sports’ latest Round 1 projections include 12 SEC stars

It’s officially April, and that means the 2023 NFL Draft takes place later this month in Kansas City, with Round 1 beginning on Thursday, April 27!

This week, CBS Sports analyst Kyle Stackpole updated his Round 1 projections, and he had 12 SEC stars included in the first 31 picks.

As you can see below, he has Bryce Young going No. 1 overall. Georgia leads the way for the SEC with 4 total first-round picks:

  • No. 1 — Bryce Young, QB, Alabama — Carolina Panthers
  • No. 3 — Will Anderson Jr., Edge, Alabama — Arizona Cardinals
  • No. 4 — Anthony Richardson, QB, Florida — Indianapolis Colts
  • No. 6 — Jalen Carter, DL, Georgia — Detroit Lions
  • No. 10 — Nolan Smith, Edge, Georgia — Philadelphia Eagles
  • No. 11 — Will Levis, QB, Kentucky — Tennessee Titans
  • No. 16 — Broderick Jones, OL, Georgia — Tampa Bay Buccaneers
  • No. 18 — Darnell Washington, TE, Georgia — Detroit Lions
  • No. 19 — O’Cyrus Torrence, OL, Florida — Washington Commanders
  • No. 24 — Drew Sanders, Edge, Arkansas — Jacksonville Jaguars
  • No. 28 — Darnell Wright, OL, Tennessee — Cincinnati Bengals
  • No. 30 — Brian Branch, DB, Alabama — Philadelphia Eagles
