The Southeastern Conference consistently produces some of the NFL’s best talent each year at multiple positions and several successful offensive linemen have come up through the ranks within the conference.
And the SEC is set to send many more on to the pros, with three teams within it making the cut for Pro Football Focus’ top 10 offensive lines in the nation. Those selections included the Arkansas Razorbacks at No. 5, Texas A&M at No. 7 and Georgia at No. 8.
Here’s what the network’s Max Chadwick had to say about what he calls the best offensive line in the SEC.
“USC fields the clear best interior offensive line in the country, but if anyone can catch that group, it’s Arkansas,” Chadwick wrote. “Both Ricky Stromberg and Beaux Limmer made PFF’s top 25 interior offensive linemen list. The other, Brady Latham, earned an 88.6 pass-blocking grade from Week 6 on in 2021, the best among SEC guards. Right tackle Dalton Wagner was also named one of PFF’s top 25 tackles heading into 2022.”
Only Ohio State, Notre Dame, USC and Baylor — in that order — were ranked above Arkansas. The Razorbacks offensive line will take the field for the first time of the 2022 season when they go head-to-head with the No. 23-ranked Cincinnati Bearcats on Sept. 3 at 2:30 p.m. CT in Fayetteville.
