LSU picked up a big in-state commit on Thursday when four-star offensive tackle Willie Allen (New Orleans, La./John Curtis) picked the Tigers over Mississippi State and others during a ceremony at his school.
The 6-foot-7 Allen is the No. 15 offensive tackle prospect nationally for the 2016 cycle per 247Sports Composite rankings. He is commit No. 21 for the Tigers this cycle.
This may not be the last piece of huge in-state recruiting news for LSU this week as a decision from five-star defensive tackle Rashard Lawrence (Monroe, La./Neville) is expected in the next 24 hours.
