National Signing Day may be college football’s version of Christmas. But it’s not until spring practice — or even the summer — before teams get an inkling about which players may be able to provide immediate help.

We’ve taken a look at five 2016 class signees at every position that should be able to make an impact this fall.

Below you’ll find the player that may make the biggest contribution in ’16 as well as a link to each positional story.

OFFENSE

Quarterbacks: Jacob Eason, Georgia

Running backs: Devwah Whaley, Arkansas

Receivers: Tyrie Cleveland, Florida

Tight ends: Isaac Nauta, Georgia

Offensive line: Gregory Little, Ole Miss

DEFENSE

Defensive ends: McTelvin Agim, Arkansas

Defensive tackles: Derrick Brown, Auburn

Linebackers: Ben Davis, Alabama

Cornerbacks: Chauncey Gardner, Florida

Safeties: Deontay Anderson, Ole Miss

SPECIALISTS

Kickers/punters: Braden Mann, Texas A&M
