Arkansas’ 5 impact players to watch vs. Tennessee-Martin

After four consecutive SEC matchups, Arkansas (3-4) tries to get back to .500 Saturday against Tennessee-Martin before ending the season with four more games against conference opponents.

UTM, an FCS school from the Ohio Valley Conference, lost 76-3 in the opening week to Ole Miss.

Here are 5 Razorbacks who should help them move one game closer to bowl eligibility:

1. QB Brandon Allen: Early losses to Toledo and Texas Tech cost what could have been a promising season for the senior QB, but after leading the Razorbacks to victory in a four-OT slugfest against Auburn last week look for Allen to end his Arkansas career on a high note. He has throw 5 TD passes in his past two games.

2. DE Deatrich Wise Jr.: Through seven games the Razorbacks rank last in the SEC with just seven sacks. Wise Jr. has shown flashes of greatness, including a nice sack against Alabama two weeks ago, but the season has largely been a struggle. Saturday represents a chance to hit reset on the season.

3. WR Drew Morgan: Arkansas had a several breakthrough performers in their four-OT victory last week, but Morgan made the biggest impact with two touchdown receptions, including the game-winner on a catch-run-dive into the end zone. With six touchdowns in seven games this season, including five touchdowns in his past five games, expect Morgan to continue his scoring ways against UTM.

4. RB Alex Collins: Collins (787 yards, 7 TDs) has been the engine that drives the Razorbacks offense and that’s guaranteed to continue after losing his primary back, RB Rawleigh Williams, to a season-ending injury last week. Already with four games of 25+ carries in 2015, expect Collins’ workload to continue with Williams out.

5. TE Hunter Henry: The Razorbacks move the ball more effectively when Henry is involved in the offense. In the two games Henry did not get more than 35 receiving yards, Arkansas has averaged just 367.0 yards per game. Compared to 481.0 yards per game when Henry does make an impact (289 receiving yards in four games, 72.0 ypg). He is particularly dangerous in the play-action game. The Razorbacks need to keep him involved the rest of the way.
