Week 6 is in the books, and with it goes some exciting plays.
Saturday saw some great grabs by some of the SEC’s top receivers, as well as a perfect punt by Tennessee. That’s right, a punt was among the most exciting plays of the weekend, but don’t call it a slow day because this one was a beauty.
Here are the five most exciting plays of Week 6:
5. Perfect punt by Tennessee
Punters are people too. This monster kick by Tennessee punter Trevor Daniel left Georgia with 99 yards to try to tie the game against Tennessee. The Bulldogs almost pulled it off, but their terrible field position helped Tennessee win the game.
4. Rashad Fenton returns it 96 yards

This was the most exciting play for the Gamecocks at LSU. Fenton had great blocking on this kickoff return, but his blazing speed made the difference en route to the touchdown.
3. Ridley burns Arkansas

Calvin Ridley continues to impress. The freshman Alabama receiver burned all of the Razorbacks on this touchdown.
2. Laquon Treadwell

This was some great concentration by the Ole Miss receiver. It’s great to see Treadwell back making plays after his terrible injury last year.
1. Georgia flips the script on 96-yard fumble return

Tennessee was so, so close to scoring on this play. Instead, Leonard Floyd snatched the fumble out of the air and took it 96 yards for the touchdown. Vols fans are just happy Tennessee got the win, though.
