Week 7 of college football has arrived, everybody! We’ve got 50 things on our mind that we have to bounce off you entering this week’s action. Enjoy!

  1. How scary was Derrius Guice’s 161-yard rushing effort last week? Now Fournette has a sidekick?
  2. There was only one other matchup between AP top 10 teams this season (No. 7 Oregon at No. 5 Michigan State), now there are two this week, and both involve SEC teams. How awesome is that?
  3. No. 9 Alabama at No. 10 Texas A&M is at 3:30 p.m. ET while No. 8 Florida at No. 6 LSU is at 7 p.m. ET, but if both games were on at the same time, which one would you watch?
  4. Which freshman receiver is going to leave his mark: Calvin Ridley or Christian Kirk?
  5. Is anyone else a little surprised that so many people are picking Memphis to beat No. 13 Ole Miss? Who have the Tigers played? I don’t think it’s an exaggeration to say that the Rebels are about as good as the five teams Memphis has beaten combined.
  6. Auburn improved to 4-2 after picking up its first conference win against Kentucky on Thursday night, but will the Tigers go bowling this season? Here’s the rest of Auburn’s schedule: at Arkansas, vs. No. 13 Ole Miss, at No. 9 Texas A&M, vs. Georgia, vs. Idaho and vs. No. 10 Alabama. They’ll need two wins, and that’s not an easy road.
  7. I guess the real question is: can they play spoiler?
  8. Does Jeff Driskel get some redemption by leading Louisiana Tech to an upset victory against Mississippi State?
  9. Will Derrick Henry record a touchdown in an 11th straight game and extend the school record?
  10. How will Fournette fare against a Florida defense that ranks 2nd in the SEC against the run (99.2 rushing yards allowed per game)?
  11. How will Georgia fare in its first game without Nick Chubb?
  12. Will Texas A&M get revenge for its 2nd-largest defeat in school history dealt in the form of a 59-0 loss to Alabama last season?
  13. Will Alabama lose multiple conference games in a season for the first time since 2010?
  14. Will Vanderbilt (0-2) or South Carolina (0-4) follow in Auburn’s footsteps and pick up its first conference win?
  15. Did anyone know that the Red River Rivalry was last week?
  16. Can you say Red River Rivalry 10 times fast?
  17. How does Drew Lock respond in a road game after getting tossed around like a rag doll last week against Florida?
  18. With everyone, and understandably so, paying attention to Florida and LSU’s offenses, is that a clue that the better defense is going to win this game?
  19. Or did I just jinx it by saying that? Now, the better offense will actually decide it. We’ll go with that.
  20. Is No. 7 Michigan State running into a buzzsaw this week in Ann Arbor?
  21. How underrated is the Florida-LSU rivalry? They’ve given us some good ones.
  22. We’re about halfway through the season. Does anyone have a chance to beat out Fournette for the Heisman with a strong finish to the season?
  23. Holy crap, we’re halfway through the season?
  24. Which non-conference opponent has the best chance of beating an SEC team this week: Memphis vs. No. 13 Ole Miss or Louisiana Tech at Mississippi State?
  25. What did you think of LSU’s alternate uniforms? Which SEC team could use an alternate the most?LSU uniforms
  26. Does Jacob Coker continue to improve at QB for Alabama?
  27. Was anything better this past week than the security official who decleated a Vols fan who tried to storm the field?
  28. Oregon has already lost three games even though they’ve only played six. The Ducks hadn’t had a 3-loss season since 2009, Chip Kelly’s first season in Eugene.
  29. Baylor is averaging 64.2 points per game. Did you know the record for a single season was Army’s 56.0 points per game in 1944.
  30. Would you have guessed that Texas A&M would be the only team receiving a 1st-place vote in the AP Poll entering Week 7?
  31. Can Treon Harris step in for Will Grier and lead Florida to victory against LSU in Death Valley?
  32. Utah has suffered two straight heartbreaking defeats against Arizona State, losing 20-19 in 2013 and 19-16 in overtime last season. Do the Sun Devils make the Utes suffer again?
  33. If they do, who the heck is making the College Football Playoff out of the Pac-12?
  34. Is Texas A&M’s receiving tandem of Christian Kirk and Josh Reynolds the best in the country?
  35. How important was it for Tennessee to get a big win like that against Georgia entering the bye?
  36. How awesome did LSU play the role of host against South Carolina last week in Baton Rouge?
  37. Do you think it’ll be anywhere near as nice this week while hosting Florida?
  38. Which school’s defensive backs will perform best when the schools who claim the title “DB U” are on the same field this week?
  39. Will Georgia lose a third straight game within a single season for just the second time under coach Mark Richt? The only losing streak as long under Richt was a four-game skid in 2010.
  40. The No. 12 Wolverines are a 7.5-point favorite at home against the No. 7 Spartans this week. Do they cover?
  41. Is Florida RB Kelvin Taylor going to get any help with the running load?
  42. How will South Carolina perform in its first game since coach Steve Spurrier’s resignation?
  43. Will there ever be a better quote machine coach than Spurrier in college football?
  44. If you ever want to get a friend into SEC football, is there a better week to do it with two AP top 10 teams and the special atmospheres we’ll see in Kyle Field and Death Valley for those matches?
  45. Does Missouri, the two-time SEC East champs, still have a shot to make it three straight?
  46. Did Will Grier deserve a one-year suspension from the NCAA?
  47. How will Brandon Harris perform if the game is put on his shoulders?
  48. Who wins the award for best flop: this one by Arkansas coach Bret Bielema or this one by Chapman University (Division III) punter William James?
  49. Which of the three undefeated SEC teams (LSU, Texas A&M and Florida) will still be unblemished after this week?
  50. When you’re filling out forms, do you fill in “SEC football” on accident … or on purpose?
