Anthony Carrie will make 1 program happy when he pledges his commitment as a member of the 2024 recruiting cycle. Could an SEC program be in the mix?

Carrie officially announced his top 12 schools entering December. Schools listed in the SEC included Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Florida, Ole Miss and South Carolina. Oklahoma, which is set to join the SEC in 2025, was also listed as one of the finalists.

Nicknamed “Scooter”, Carrie is listed as a 4-star prospect, according to the current 247Sports Composite. A native of Tampa, the 6-foot, 178-pound runner is currently the No. 16 running back in the nation, and the No. 28 player in the state of Florida.

Other schools in the running outside the SEC include Miami, Michigan, Michigan State, Notre Dame and Penn State.

Here are several highlights from Carrie’s sophomore season at Carrollwood Day High School.
