A.J. Brown was certainly ready to play on Sunday.
The Tennessee Titans receiver, who starred at Ole Miss, caught a touchdown pass as the Titans extended their lead over the Kansas City Chiefs in Nashville.
It was unclear if Brown would play as recently as late last week. However, Brown returned from an unspecified illness and was back at practice on Friday. He was expected to be available and he certainly was.
Here is the video from the 24-yard touchdown reception that was thrown by Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill:

Brown isn’t the only former SEC players that is contributing to the Titans’ cause. Former Alabama running back Derrick Henry has already thrown a touchdown pass in the game.
