A.J. Brown has quickly come to the defense of his new quarterback, Jalen Hurts, after Brown’s perception that the former Alabama QB received an unfair report of his recent practice performance.
Eagles reporter Derrick Gunn recently claimed on JAKIB Media reported that Hurts struggled to the point of throwing 3 interceptions, 4 incompletions and suffered 4 sacks.
Brown, the new addition from the Tennessee Titans, tweeted that Gunn’s report is “fake,” and this “app is crazy.”
The narrative around Hurts has been mixed, and this is expected to be a key season for Hurts. Eagles Wire reported that Hurts had a solid and impressive offseason by all accounts and as the Eagles closed out OTAs, the third-year quarterback reportedly lit up the defense with timely decisions and accurate throws.
Dallas Goedert and other Philadelphia offensive players praised Hurts throughout the offseason, but that hasn’t stopped the rumor mill from cycling back to Hurts potentially getting replaced in 2023.
That practice stuff about Jalen is fake . Y’all tweet and believe anything. Like how can he get sacked on 7on7 and there aren’t any rushers. I believe water is above us . Believe that too and make a article about that too . This app is crazy 😂
