We all know former Florida TE Aaron Hernandez’s depressing story.
No need to rehash the atrocities that he committed here.
But what is new is that folks got a full glimpse at his recently added neck tattoo during his latest court appearance in advance of his next murder trial.
And according to Deadspin’s Barry Petchesky, who knows a frightening amount of specifics about gang tattoos, the symbolism involved in the tattoo may be related to the Bloods:

I’m not sure that he would be open to such behavior in prison really surprised many readers, because it certainly doesn’t surprise me.
It is something to store away in the back of your mind for the next time you get deep into a discussion about former SEC players and potential ties to gangs with your friends.
