Abdul Carter is a game-time decision for Thursday’s College Football Playoff semifinal at the Orange Bowl, according to his agent.

Sports super-agent Drew Rosenhaus appeared on The Pat McAfee Show Thursday at the Orange Bowl ahead of the CFP semifinal between Penn State and Notre Dame. Nittany Lions standout Abdul Carter came up, and Rosenhaus was able to share the latest on his NIL client.

“If this guy can play physically, if there’s a chance, he will do it,” Rosenhaus said. “I’ve been an NFL agent for 36 years. This is absolutely one of the toughest human beings I’ve ever been affiliated with. Just watch this guy play. He plays so hard every snap.

“If he can go, he’ll go. But he has a legitimate shoulder injury. And (James) Franklin came out and said it’s a game-time decision. It really is. …There are game-time decisions where you have to go out there and you have to warm up and you have to feel it. That is going to be something that will happen in a couple hours.”

Carter was injured during Penn State’s win over Boise State in the Fiesta Bowl and was unable to return. This season, he has logged 63 tackles with 11 sacks, 3 pass breakups and 2 forced fumbles.

The Orange Bowl is set for 7:30 p.m. ET, airing on ESPN.
