After Zach Smith claims he never abused his ex-wife, Brett McMurphy releases text message of Smith admitting he did
Former Ohio State receivers coach Zach Smith has gone on the offensive. After losing his job, and partly being responsible for Urban Meyer being placed on leave in Columbus, the former college assistant is responding to the claims that he abused his ex-wife, Courtney Smith.
On Friday, Smith gave an interview to SportsCenter in an attempt to clear his name as well as a radio interview with 105.7 in Columbus. During both interviews, Smith denied ever assaulting his wife. In response to those claims, the man who broke the original story of Smith’s years of abuse has provided new evidence in response.
College football insider Brett McMurphy has released a text message conversation between Zach Smith and his ex-wife where he not only acknowledges strangling his wife but apologizes for his actions.
