A’Ja Wilson dropped 24 points and 16 rebounds in the Las Vegas Aces’ 2nd straight championship victory Wednesday night over the New York Liberty.

The Aces’ full cast is full of several former SEC stars such as Tennessee’s Candace Parker, Texas A&M’s Sydney Colson and former Gamecocks Alaina Coates. Parker made WNBA history by becoming the first player to win 3 titles with 3 separate teams.

But, rightfully so, Wilson was named MVP for being the star of the show. It’s the first Finals MVP and 2nd straight title for the 5x WNBA All-Star and South Carolina icon.

After the game, Wilson was seen sharing a moment with former coach Dawn Staley courtside.
