Editor’s note: Cooper returned to the field to open the second half. Saturday Down South will monitor his condition for the remainder of the game.

The Alabama Crimson Tide escaped the first half with a 7-6 lead over the Arkansas Razorbacks, but the Tide couldn’t get to halftime with star wideout Amari Cooper in tact.

Cooper suffered an apparent knee injury on a 13-yard completion from Blake Sims late in the first half against the Razorbacks. It was Cooper’s only catch of the first half.

According to Saturday Down South’s Chris Walsh, Cooper walked to the locker room prior to halftime with his knee wrapped in ice. His status for the second half remains uncertain.
