Alabama cornerback Minkah Fitzpatrick suffered an undisclosed injury in the first half on Saturday, and did not return to the game.

CBS sideline reporter Allie LaForce said Fitzpatrick had a “lower extremity” problem, and would not return. No further details were available on Fitzpatrick’s condition.

Tony Brown replaced Fitzpatrick on the field for the Crimson Tide.

Fitzpatrick was the second Alabama player to get injured during the No. 2 Crimson Tide’s game with No. 17 Mississippi State. Running back Kenyan Drake suffered what coach Nick Saban said he thought was a broken arm.
