Alabama’s Jonathan Allen has outrageous sack goals for the defensive line

In 2012, Stanford finished the season with 57 team sacks. That’s the most that any program has produced over the last eight years, dating back to 2008.
Last season, Alabama ended with a nation-best 52 sacks — four more than second-place Clemson. (Funny how that worked out.) But it was still far below the Crimson Tide’s self-employed standards.
In fact, they came about 98 sacks short of their own expectations.

Alabama averaged 3.47 sacks per game throughout the 2015 season, which was good enough to set the tone for the No. 3-ranked total defense (276.3 yards allowed per game) and the No. 2-ranked scoring defense (15.1 points), along with securing a fourth national championship in seven years.
But hey, way to set the bar, Jonathan.
