Alabama football names its offensive and defensive NFL ‘Freaks of the Week
Alabama players continue to produce even after they leave college.
Each week, the school names an NFL Offensive & Defensive NFL player that was “Built by Bama” as their “Freaks of the Week.” This week, former Alabama RB turned Baltimore Raven Kenyan Drake and Quinnen Williams, a NY Jets DT were given the honor.
Alabama announced the results for the week on Wednesday via Twitter.

Drake played well for the Ravens this past week, securing a 30 yard TD run. He was also the most efficient RB, with a 2.28 efficiency score. The RB also had a game-high 119 yards rushing on 10 carries for the Ravens.
On the defensive side of the ball, it’s not hard to see why Williams was given the title of “freak”. In the Jets win over Green Bay on Sunday, Williams had 2 sacks, 3 tackles, a forced fumble, 2 quarterback hits, a tackle for loss and a blocked field goal. Not a bad day at the office.
Drake will be back in action with the Ravens as they take on the Browns on Sunday. Likewise, Williams will be back on the field Sunday as the Jets take on the Broncos.
