Alabama defensive back Red Morgan has thoughts on Florida State’s 0-2 start to the 2024 college football season — something that has consistently been a hot topic. The Seminoles have dropped two straight, falling 24-21 to Georgia Tech, then 28-13 to Boston College.

Morgan took to social media this week on Snapchat with a post that read “So glad I ain go to this mf,” followed by several laughing-crying emojis.

And, if anything, he feels that he dodged a bullet by not attending the university. He came close to doing just that, originally committed to the Seminoles for the Class of 2024. Of course, he ultimately flipped to Alabama, something that has proven to be in his best interest to this point.

Morgan was a 4-star recruit coming out of Central High School in Phenix City, Alabama, according to the 247Sports Composite. In the same database, Morgan was listed as the No. 28 overall safety and the No. 17 overall prospect in the state of Alabama for the recruiting cycle. He was also listed as the No. 294 prospect in the nation.

Alabama opened its season in much stronger fashion than FSU, absolutely blasting the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers, 63-0. The Crimson Tide will look to continue to keep things on a high note as they face the South Florida Bulls on Saturday in Tuscaloosa.
