Since Nick Saban arrived in Tuscaloosa in 2007, Alabama has had a lot of talented running backs to hand the ball off to. On Monday, the Crimson Tide added a possible future star from just down the road.

Brian Robinson, a running back from Hillcrest High in Tuscaloosa, verbally committed to his hometown team. He will join the Crimson Tide in the fall of 2017.

Rivals rates the 6-foot-2, 213-pound Robinson the No. 11 running back in the Class of 2017.

Earlier this season, Robinson rushed for 447 yards and four touchdowns in a 41-40 loss to defending Class 6A champion Clay-Chalkville. He also caught a 23-yard touchdown pass that night.

Here are some of Robinson’s best runs from his 447-yard performance.

In 2014, as a sophomore, Robinson rushed for 1,451 yards and 19 touchdowns.
