Alabama is like every team in college football right now as the Crimson Tide are looking to bring in talent from the transfer portal. This is the time where teams are bringing in some of the final guys as they prepare for the 2025 season.

The Crimson Tide are having 1 of the most tightly contested battles in the country at the quarterback position, as Keelon Russell is battling with Austin Mack and Ty Simpson for the job. Regardless of who wins the job, they will need some guys to throw to.

On Wednesday, the Crimson Tide added a talented receiving threat, as West Virginia transfer Jack Sammarco announced that he would be transferring to Alabama. He shared the news on social media with the help of On3’s Hayes Fawcett.

The Crimson Tide have a ton of talent at the wide receiver position, led by sensational sophomore Ryan Williams. One of their weaker positions was tight end, and Sammarco is a guy who can come in and compete for playing time immediately.

For Alabama, there is pressure on being better than the team was last season. Bringing in a talent like Sammarco to help provide an insurance blanket for a brand new starting quarterback is something Kalen DeBoer is happy with.
