Ryan Anderson knows a thing or two about blowing through left tackles to tally a sack or tackle for loss.

The Alabama senior linebacker enters Monday’s national championship game with a career-high 7.5 sacks (9th in SEC) and 17 tackles behind the line of scrimmage (2nd).

During the College Football Playoff title game media day on Saturday morning, he was asked which tackle was the best that he’s faced in 2016, and the player he had in mind does not come from the SEC.

He’s not even from a Power 5 conference.

In the Tide’s 38-10 win over Western Kentucky in Week 2, Anderson was credited a half-sack and 1.5 tackles for loss.

Lamp, who is projected as an offensive guard at the next level, is considered a second- or third-round draft pick by CBS Sports.

Anderson will look to finish strong on his best season to date when Alabama (14-0) takes on Clemson (13-1) in the CFP title game Monday at 8 p.m. ET.
