Alabama LB Terrell Lewis issues heartfelt message after being forced to miss fall camp due to injury
Everyone knows football camp isn’t fun. It’s hot, long days, sometimes longer nights and it leaves players longing for Saturday afternoons. As camp begins in Tuscaloosa for the defending champion Alabama Crimson Tide, linebacker Terrell Lewis sent out a heartfelt message about his desire to compete in camp with his brothers.
If you missed the news, the junior linebacker suffered a torn ACL during early summer training and may not make it back this year.
With camp opening up this week for the Tide, Lewis felt compelled to share his thoughts on missing out:
I love this time of the year. As you get older you start to embrace camp more than you dread it and take pride in the little things. I wish I could be out there with my brothers so bad, I just pray nobody takes these moments for granted. The hard part is the beauty of it all!

Lewis, who was a four-star recruit out of Washington, DC and a part of the 2016 class, would be a great addition back to an already talented defense in Tuscaloosa as the Tide looks to make a run at back-to-back National Championships.
