The Alabama Crimson Tide dismissed LB VanDarius Cowan from the team on Monday, and on Tuesday, the team got more bad news.
On Tuesday, coach Nick Saban issued a statement on LB Terrell Lewis, saying that the junior linebacker had suffered a torn ACL.
According to the statement, which you can read below, Saban said the injury was suffered while training last week:

The statement didn’t officially rule Lewis out for the 2018 season, but it’s hard to imagine him recovering in time to contribute to the 2018 Crimson Tide.
A different injury limited Lewis to just four games last season, when he recorded 16 tackles and a sack for the Tide.
