Redshirt freshman linebacker Joshua McMillon has been absent from Alabama’s last two practices. These missed practices led one website to report that McMillon intended to transfer from the program.
If McMillon did transfer from the Crimson Tide, he would be the sixth player from the 2015 class to jump ship. Fortunately for Alabama fans, that isn’t the case and the linebacker cleared up everything on Twitter Sunday evening.

McMillon missed practice to attend his uncle’s funeral, not because he intended to transfer from the program. He has been practicing with the inside linebackers this season and appears to be content with trying to make his mark in Tuscaloosa.
