Former Alabama star Reuben Foster signs rookie deal with San Francisco 49ers
San Francisco may have gotten the steal of the draft by trading back into the first round and selecting Alabama linebacker Reuben Foster. Now, the 49ers have officially come to terms with their prized rookie.
The team announced Friday afternoon that Foster had signed his rookie contract with the organization, making him the eighth player to ink a deal out of the ten selected. As a first-round pick, Foster has a four-year deal with a fifth-year team option.
