There have been some memorable matchups between Alabama and LSU in recent years, and most of those games feature plenty of defense.
Oddsmakers believe this Saturday’s game could feature a bit more scoring, however, as the over/under opened at 50 points. Alabama’s offense has exploded this season, averaging 43.9 points per game, and LSU has scored an average of 41.7 points per game since Ed Orgeron took over as interim coach.
Still, these two teams have among the best defenses in college football and are capable of shutting down any opponent. Perhaps that reputation is what has caused the opening over/under of 50 points to drop to 45.
The O/U on the Alabama-LSU game has dropped from 50 (opening) to 45 (current).
